Yes, many roads I have traveled and no two are the same. I have had
the fortune of walking down these from different directions. Those of my Native Amercian Culture and those of a Christian
Voice. Only we can decide for ourselves which road in our lives we take. I am a passive person by nature and belief . My poetry
is written with the heart of my Indian culture. I find tranquility and peace on this path that I have chosen. Now I stand
at a crossroad and I see in the directions of the four winds and I must make my choices. I have chosen the path of sharing,
for I believe my soul will be enriched forever for allowing its voice to be heard. The best part of this path that I walk
is meeting many people along the way.
Have you ever stopped and thought for a moment how much wisdom you can inherit from another by being on the same
path of sharing and more important, the path of giving? I do every day and there are many people I have met that
helped make my journey a learning experience full of love , knowledge and a lasting tie that cannot be broken.
As a writer I believe we all need help from time to time . We do not move ahead in this life by ourselves. We
must have encouragement from time to time. I also believe we should acknowledge these people for all they have done. The following
are a few people I want to thank.
Janet Elaine Smith, Dorthy Thompson, Jay, Helen, Maureen, Ellen, Don, Avie,Florence, Jess, Avie, Ayn,
CC, Irene, Melissa,.. just to name a few.
These are people from a writers group called The Writer's Life. Without this group
much of my work today would not be read, for I received much encouragement from them all. Again many thanks to you even
if I forgot your name. I promise to update.. In this group , we laugh togther, work together , cry together, learn together,
best of all we walk this path together.
Writing..this is the path I have walked for almost 40 years. The road was not always an easy road,
but if it were easy, What would be learned? On the following pages you will read a sample of my work and
I hope the path you walk on with me will be a pleasant adventure..
